Aleczaender Richterian is the founder of the Eternal Octavian Imperium, the author of Richterism, and the Supreme Commander of the Imperium of Octavium. He is styled the Eternal Father, and the whole of Octavian history from 1943 to the present age is measured against his reign, his absence, and his return.
May the Zaenderian Cause still stand, to fight for strong men, and may Octavium survive in this struggle, for Aleczaender Reigns Supreme, and Octavium Will Prevail.

The Founding
On September 19th, 1943 (2020), Aleczaender founded Octavia under its official name, the Eternal Octavian Imperium, at a rallyhall in the Alps of Eastern France. He came to power through a General Staff coup, holding at that time the rank of Marshal of the army. With his adjutant Oswald Chauvelen he organised the General Staff and the garrison of the army, and under his Richterism he secured himself as absolute ruler.
To hold the territories in France and the home-region of Occitanie, he struck a deal with the Chancellor Alex Parsaville, raising him to Supreme Chancellor. Alex formed the Authority, a power that sat under the jurisdiction of Aleczaender's Joint Marshals yet held a station equal to Aleczaender's own. The two ruled Octavia together as Supreme Marshal and Supreme Chancellor.

The Wars
Aleczaender's first act as Supreme Marshal was to train his army under Richterist doctrine. From a base camp near Allemande he opened the invasion of Greater Normandy, and after defending a series of attacks — and putting down rebels who sought a Spain free of Richterism — he took Paris by paradrop, landing the army and the famed Legion on the city. Greater Normandy collapsed. Britain broke away as Greater Britannia.
The wars that followed carried Octavian arms across Europe and Africa: the Rhine, the defence of El Alamein against Russian, Rhinish and American forces, the invasion of England and the occupation of London, and the offensive on Cairo, where Octavian soldiers were photographed before the Rhinish monuments of the city. Britain was virtually defeated, and the Russians would not risk war.

By 1944 the Greater Alemannic Realm rose in Germany under Leutgard, once Aleczaender's own mentor, and went to war with Octavia. Oswald held the line and broke them, and the Alemannic Realm troubled Aleczaender no further. A song was written by one of Oswald's Corporals in his honour, and Aleczaender allowed him to be seen as the Zhukov of Octavia.

The Height of Empire
At its height Octavia held Spain, Portugal, Morocco and southern France, occupied Paris and London, and maintained satellites across the world in Korea, Prussia, Vietnam, China and Bulgaria, bound together in the pact known as the Richterian Commonwealth. Not all of them were military dictatorships, but all swore loyalty to Aleczaender.
Paris and London bustled: shops, diners and factories opened, civilians worked at producing weapons and tanks, and Octavian soldiers patrolled the streets. Aleczaender held parades and rallies glorifying his victories and showing Octavia as the dominant nation of the community.

After the invasion of the Caribbean, Octavia turned to space. Octavians landed on the moon, and Aleczaender began researching colonies beyond the earth — his most ambitious goal, cut short by civil wars and internal conflicts across the world.
The Retirement and the Tomb
To centralise his power Aleczaender merged the offices of Supreme Chancellor and Supreme Marshal into Supreme Leader. He planned his retirement for July 1945 and named Richard Richterian his Successor for undying loyalty and service. His final act was the liberation of Helleria from Albert Hellerium, in whose place stood the Greater Confederation of Helleria.
He then released his memoir of his years as soldier, officer, general and leader — The Legends of Aleczaender, commonly called The Legacy — held a final retirement ceremony at which Richard was crowned, and bid farewell.
Aleczaender disappeared. Few knew his whereabouts and many assumed he was dead. Weeks later a tomb appeared in Paris titled "Aleczaender Richterian." No funeral was held and no obituary written.

The Great Destruction
On August 17th, 1945, Richard conducted the event known as The Great Destruction: the total destruction of every nation, asset and creation of Aleczaender, carried out with the help of the Solum Dynasty, after Richard was peer-pressured by close friends that it would be better to end everything than to retire.
What followed were years of civil war — Erick, Spartan, Ethan, Arxilium, Ausie, Julius, Paterick — pretenders and Successors fighting over Richterism itself, while Greater Richteria, Germania and the Greater Confederation rose and collapsed in turn.
It Wasn't All For Nothing
Aleczaender was not dead. He was alive on a remote island in the Atlantic with most of his retired staff. Erick and Paterick both knew, and relied on his mentorship in the effort to restore Richterism despite his absence. He was aware of the evil intent of the men who fought in his name, and used his influence to rally new Successors who could muster an army against the day of his return.
Paterick, after his loyal work, retired to Elba with a private army, leaving Aleczaender's staff to run Octavia — renamed Octavium, officially the Imperium Octavium — in preparation.
Aleczaender had built an ideology meant to outlast all opposition and carry on in his absence. He concluded that it could not: that without him, and without years more of his work, the glories that once existed could not continue without his hand at play. With that realisation he made the leap forward to continue his cause once again and forevermore.
The Great Return
Aleczaender returned formally in 1953. Hundreds of veterans rallied under the Octavium banner, and hundreds more before the official grand opening. Under The Big Plan and the planning of The Great Return, Octavium was expected to succeed with tenfold the manpower, activity, effort and architecture it had once pioneered.
With Aleczaender as Supreme Marshal, Supreme Chancellor and Supreme Commander, the Imperial Army, Imperial Regime and Imperial Legion advanced to secure the continuation of what was once the Richterian people — an Octavian people united in Strength, Brotherhood, and Loyalty.
